My meeting with H.E. Mr. Alexey Gruzdev, Hon’ble Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Russian Federation, and H.E. Mr. Vladimir Ilichev, Hon’ble Deputy Minister for Economic Development, Russian Federation, in Moscow

On 6th December 2024, I had the pleasure & privilege of a follow-up meeting with H.E. Mr. #alexeygruzdev, Hon’ble Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Russian Federation, and H.E. Mr. #vladimirilichev, Hon’ble Deputy Minister for Economic Development, Russian Federation, in Moscow, to take forward the important issues in the agenda discussed, on 11th November 2024, in Mumbai, under the guidance of H.E Mr. #denismanturov, Hon’ble First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation & H.E Dr S. Jaishankar, Hon’ble External Affairs Minister of India, to enhance engagement levels between India & Russia.

Our meeting on December 6 2024, addressed sector-specific collaborations, as follows: (i) Strategy for developing tourism in Russian Far East & Arctic regions and overall development of this region – apropos the priorities set in by the Hon’ble President H.E Mr. #VladimirPutin; (ii) That, I would be facilitating a delegation of well-known film producers & tour operators, next year, to enable them to experience for themselves the beautiful, wild & untouched landscape of #kamchatka region of the Russian Federation, which indeed would also give a push for tourism promotion; (iii) Leveraging India’s skilled managerial and workforce personnel for the required verticals to synergize with Russia’s advanced technological capabilities in order to create mutually beneficial partnerships; (iv) Transfer of Russian state of the art technology across verticals, especially for infrastructure growth including #railway & #metro and customization for various initiatives relating to “#makeinindia” & “#AatmanirbharBharat”.
